That’s one of the tours I wish I had seen and of course pyromania. Glad I got to see so many great bands in the 80s. But this gives the new generation how great concerts were back then and how electric the crowds were. It’s amazing how the bands and the crowd feeds off each other. This is awesome footage and at the same time sad that Steves not with us anymore. He had everything he could have asked for. God bless him. Def Lepp will always be my favorite band. Hands down. ❤❤❤❤

Joe's absolutely right about releasing an album: it *IS* an event rather than just another product with a serial number... Simply churning out records every year just to keep the marketing boys happy doesn't do much for the quality of songwriting, gathering fresh ideas and material, or recharging your creative batteries every once in a while. It just becomes 13 a dozen.

slang was an amazing album, and broke new ground for them musically. the world wasn't waiting for a new def leppard album, and the image strip-down for them, combined with interviews in which they compared themselves to u2, didn't help though. great album though, and they were always great live.

Wow, from 1:28 the view of the Quays of Dublin. That area is totally different now, apartment blocks, shopping areas now abound where it was once ao derelict. The venue they were playing here, the Point, is still Dublin main indoor arena but it had z major revamp doone from 2007 to 2008 amd is call the 3Arena now. I hate corporate names lol

It’s hard to believe that this tour took place over 35 years ago. Back then I was 19 years old. I was blessed to attend this tour in Louisville, Ky. To this very day I still very clearly remember standing in the audience in complete amazement at the performance. The band was absolutely phenomenal and Joe’s voice was unlike anything I have ever heard. All I can remember was how incredibly powerful his voice was. One of the best concerts I have ever attended.
